Baby killed after trailer rams into a motorcycle his mother was riding on along Lagos-Ibadan expressway

A baby strapped on the back of his mother who was riding on a motorbike, was killed by a trailer that rammed on the motorbike riding along the Kara bridge along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway.



According to reports, the driver of the trailer lost control and hit the motorcycle conveying the woman and her baby, killing the baby and injuring the mother in the process. The trailer thereafter plunged into the river with its head hanging on the covets.

Federal Road Safety Corp FRSC have arrived the scene of the accident. The dead baby and the injured mother have been removed from the scene while efforts are being made to rescue the driver and conductor in the trailer.
